The manifested Word of God

John 1:1-14

1. The word became flesh.

The spiritual word became the tangible manifested word. The declared word became flesh-Greek word (sarx) living substance

Jesus and the word are one –
Jesus is the word the word is Jesus.

Jesus in the flesh was the manifested uncovered visible tangible word of God demonstrated on the earth.

The word which is spiritual and life-giving became flesh tangible manifested

2. The word is the will of God

John 5:19
Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

John 12:44-50
44    Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.
45   And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.
46   I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
47   And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
48   He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
49   For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
50   And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

3. You must be totally reliant on Jesus. You must be totally reliant on the word
In Jesus,- in the word,-is the fullness of God. Everything that you need is in Jesus,-in the word. The answer to every problem is in Jesus,- in the word.

Ephesians 1:19-23
19   And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20   Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21   Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22   And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23   Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

When the word is operating in the body of Christ. The spiritual word becomes visible, and tangible. Jesus is revealed in his fullness.

When you preach Jesus you preach the gospel you preach the word. If you are preaching any word that is not Jesus then you are not preaching the word of God or the gospel. But if you are preaching what is in the word of God then you are preaching Jesus whether it is Old Testament preaching or New Testament preaching you must preach the word which is Jesus.

4. The word has authority

Jesus said all Authority in heaven and in earth is given unto me.

After saying this he then told his disciples to go. He gave the word of authority to them to preach to heal the sick to cast out devils and to announce the coming of the kingdom.

You and I have been given the word. We have been given Jesus.

Matthew 28:18-20
18   And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19   Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20   Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

I am with you always – the word of authority is with us always

I have authority given to me by the word

5. Jesus is the sent word
Psalms 107:20
He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

Matthew 8:5-13
5   And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
6   And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
7   And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
8   The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
9   For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
10   When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
11   And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
12   But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
13   And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

This man understood the relationship between the word and the one who sent it.

When we preach the Word we preach Jesus – we send the word we send Jesus. When we share the word we share Jesus. When you receive the word you receive Jesus.

6. You are born again by the faith you put in Jesus. By the faith you put in the word.

Romans 10:8-10
8   But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9   That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10   For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

You and I are born again through the blood in the word. Now we belong. We are citizens of heaven.

I have a birth certificate which legally proves my citizenship. As a citizen I have rights and some authority that’s been given to me.

I was born again now I am a citizen of heaven I have a legal rights and authority that has been given to me

Satan has no legal rights at all

7. Continue in the word continue in Jesus
John 8:31-32
31   Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32   And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Motivation for Spiritual Increase

Motivation for Spiritual Increase
Psalms 115 – read the whole chapter

12   The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.

13   He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.

14   The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.

15   Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.

16   The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

17   The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.

18   But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the LORD.
Fear the Lord- The reverential awe of God. The utmost respect for God.. Respect for his words, respect for His presences, respect for the work of his hands. The fear of the Lord is to love God and Hate sin.

It is certainly to love what he loves and hate what he hates. To cling to what is good and to push away that which is evil. That you may increase in all good things.
Ultimately, You must take responsibility for your own increase and spiritual development.
Now don’t get me wrong God gives the increase… But we are responsible for the planting and the watering.
1 Corinthians 3:6-8

6   I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

7   So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

8   Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
They are one – one in labor united for increase. You have surrounding you a united support system that is dedicated and focused for your increase and spiritual development. But you still have a responsible part to play.
You have got come to the fountain and you have to drink.

It starts with Spiritual discipline and ends in joy.
Even though you know that if you don’t do it no one else will, you may still struggle with having the motivation.
It’s like that one room in your home

the garage/ attic, basement or maybe a storage room. Over time things build up, get cluttered, dusty, dirty,

The place you put all the things you know you need to deal with but for whatever reason you just can’t deal with it right now.
Unmotivated – lack of interest or enthusiasm
Why?
Time- this boils down to one thing you don’t feel it is a priority. People make time for what they want to do.
Ephesians 5:15-17

15   See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

16   Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

17   Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
John 9:4

I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
Overwhelmed – so many things that need to change… Where do I start?
Mark 9:23-24

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

Unknowledgeable- I don’t know how to fix this. It will take study.
Hosea 4:6 (KJV)

6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Cycles of lethargy- Seek him diligently

1 Chronicles 28:9

And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.
2 Chronicles 15:1-2

1   And the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded:

2   And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.
Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

The seed is in itself

Genesis 1:11

And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

If you are in strife you have the seed of strife in you and when you talk you plant it.
If you are in faith you have the seed of faith that when you speak produces more of what you have

Authority and Impartation of the blessing

Gen 37:3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours.

Robe symbolic of who you were your employment etc

Garment- behg’·ed. common covering tunic like what Joseph wore when he was in potifers house

Robe- Mehel – covering worn over the tunic by men of rank like Aaron’s or David’s covering
Mantle – ad·deh’·reth a prophets coat of glory magnificent splendor
Coat – כֻּתֹּנֶתkĕthoneth – many colours-Pac palms and feet. Long sleeved

Special garment. Special mandate, calling, set apart with special authority

The birthright robe was given to the favored lineage a mandate to produce the seed for the messiah.

Appointed ambassadors of the father

2 mandates

The birthright mandate and the blessing mandate.
1. Birthright -authority.

All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me
Received by authoritative appointment

Birthright mandate was to produce the seed for the messiah

You have a birthright through the new birth

2. Blessing – fulfilled promise

The blessing mandate was for the natural blessing for provision and the possession of the land

The land blessing – the prospering blessing – the promise.

The blessing comes through the impartation laying on of hands. infilling of the Holy Ghost
Lay on hands for covenant blessing
Romans 1:11-12 For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine.

2 Timothy 1:6-7 For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

Abiding in God’s Best

Abiding in Gods best
2017 total reliance on God
I’m looking for Gods best – I want to make it into Gods best
God if you don’t do it, I’ll never make it
  Restore spiritual militants –

Spiritually confrontational. Aggressive in possession of spiritual things
Total reliance – I can only live on what you provide for me… On what comes from you.
Abiding in Christ

– remain not to depart, endure, continue in Christ
 John 15

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same

bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing (John 15:5-7)

If ye abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Today the modern church is all about connection. You can be naturally connected spiritually dead
Dead things must be cut off. Pruning and shaping.
Revelation 3:1. The angel to the church of Sardis
You have a reputation or a name that you are alive but you are dead
What is Gods best for you?
Process to abiding – God for the sinfulness of man sent a savior. Jesus christ died resurrected and ascended into heaven. After which he released an abiding power. The Holy Ghost
You must be filled continually with his spirit and his word

2017 Total reliance on God

2017 relying totally on God- is Gods plan for you this year
2016 was a year of revelation
Revealing of the anointed servants of God

Revealing the enemy’s of God and Israel
…God if you don’t save me, I’ll never make it.

Matthew 24:1-2 Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”

Prophecy fulfilled

…Titus Flāvius Caesar emperor of Rome August 30 in the year 70 A.D. (was the very day on which Nebuchadnezzar had destroyed the 1st Temple in 586 B.C.)

Not one stone left was upon another. After the tabernacle of the lord was thrown down the invading army plowed up the foundation.

They left it with the inability of quick repair.

….Likewise Satan has attacked the church with the same desire…to leave it without ability to repair quickly. Make no mistake, He wants to tear you down, displace and destroy you. His plan is to attack from the ground up. The Attack is carefully targeted at the foundation.

The Church (we are the temple)

* is unstable due to a foundation problem.

*In danger of collapse.

*Barely hanging on. -most churches if they were honest are barely hanging on.
*We do not have a surface problem that can be covered by the band aid of religion.

We have a foundational problem. The foundation of Christianity has been plowed up by invading forces of darkness.
*We have been expecting the ancient foundation that has been built to uphold the heaviness of our sinful generation. Unfortunately the solid stones that have been cemented into the foundation of our Christian heritage has become brittle Clay and is crumbling under the weight and the heaviness of our sinful culture. Over time the solid tightly pressed foundation has become weekend and gaping holes have started to show. Now there are some things that are creeping in to the house that should have been sealed out and prevented. But The spiritual house is being neglected, the greater part of the foundation is ruined.
*There needs to be a tearing down of the decayed foundation. We must replace the old with new. We must pour some brand-new foundational walls that will uphold the true church in the last days in which we are living.
….God if you don’t save us, We’ll never make it.
What?

What has been eating away and destroying the foundation over time? The Bible gives a natural example of a spiritual concept.
Matthew 16:6 Sadusees

Mark 8:15 Herodians
Leaven causes a breakdown on the molecular level. If you allow leaven (sin) to get in and remain it will change the entire person.
1. Leaven of pharasees – religious tradition they exalted themselves and belittle others in their own mind… their focus is on their works service or position held in the church and offerings given. Whitewashed tombs.

Spiritual hypocrisy. They focus on the sins of others but ignore Their own spiritual shortcomings.

2. Leaven of Sadusees – they don’t believe in the supernatural (I believe in miracles signs and wonders) and they didn’t believe in the resurrection of the dead – The dead in Christ will rise and we which are alive and remain shall be caught up
3. Leaven of the Herodians- supporters of a Jewish state under Herod the king. Politically focused. All about the Natural connections to accomplish great things. Replacement of supernatural power with carefully calculated study of trends and statistics. Learn how to move and motivate people naturally at the forsaking of total reliance on the Holy Ghost power.

Psalm 11:3If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
…God if you don’t save me, I’ll never make it.

1. Restore spiritual militants –

Spiritually confrontational. Aggressive in possession of spiritual things
-The church for the most part has wrestled not.

We are no longer confrontational to sin.
These 3 endure Faith hope and love

Faith church-word confession process but attendees lost hope and those in bondage feel no love because compassion has leaked out of the pompous heart.

Hope church- rescue me church. Such nice encouraging messages to help make successful people…but don’t bring the drug addict in and God for bid that I might have to sit by someone Who is of a lower class than I am.

Love church- the sinfulness of the world and rejection of legalism helped them to form there doctrine of- total acceptance
2. Give up no ground

That which you have laid hold on don’t let go of.

The steps of progression that you have made don’t backstep don’t give up your ground.

You may have already lost much don’t let go of what you still have. Protect nurse and strengthen that which is ready to die.

No ground we are giving up no ground. We’ve got a cause worth fighting for devil we are not going to take no more
3. Advance the purpose of Christ
Everywhere the soul of your foot touches the land will be given unto you

….We’ve been building church on looks
We’ve been building upon education

Political agenda, religion.. it is time to stop advancing our own wishes and start advancing His desire
In 2017

……We will see spiritual manifestation …..
….They shall cast out Devils

…Pour some oil on the broken

….The outpouring of the Holy Ghost is for all

But his method is not excepted by all. I’m talking about a true unadulterated move of the Holy Ghost

We don’t need taught tongues. And we won’t need a follow up committee
If you have to be thought to talk in tongues, you missed it. You can’t fake it till you make it. You have to be plunged into the rushing stream

…no more Decisions without conversion

William Booth -his concern for the 21st century church is that they would have Decisions without conversion
…raise up the destroyed foundations

.. know God better than ever before
Daniel 11:32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries; but the people who do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
…God if you don’t help us, We’ll never make it.

Falling away??? Or is it????
apostasía (from 868 /aphístēmi, “leave, depart,” which is derived from 575/apó, “away from” and 2476 /histémi, “stand”) – properly, departure (implying desertion); apostasy – literally, “a leaving, from a previous standing.”
Isaiah 58:?]But they that shall be of thee. Shall raise up the foundations of many generations.

The blood, the priest, and the mercy seat

The blood, the priest, the seat of mercy
Philippians 3:7-11But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ; And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
**Man, without the regeneration of the Holy Spirit, are entirely depraved. Full of wicked intentions, and selfish desire. It is easy to look at the murderer, the rapist, the heinous criminal and say they are completely lost and depraved. But we must realize that even on our best day we could not obtain the level of Gods holiness he desires of us. For this reason the only hope for any man is the mercy of a loving God.
The blood – it represents the making of sacrifice, it represents the giving of life.
The priest – The standard of holiness, (God said don’t do this so that the people will see a difference between righteousness in unrighteousness). The mediator of righteousness, The responsibility of carrying the blood (the sacrificial life) into the holy of holies
The mercy seat- was the lid of the ark of the covenant. (the seal upon the testimony of Gods Word and promise.) Inside the ark was the laws of God written on two tables of stone (The Commandments of God) The rod of Aaron that budded (The appointment of God) pot of manna (The miraculous provision of God) Under watchful eye of the cherubim. The space in between was the oracle of God.
1 John 4:7-10Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation “hilasmose” for our sins.
“propitiation” from the Greek word hilasterion. Concretely it specifically means the Lid of the Ark (in the Temple) (Strong’s Greek Dictionary). The only other occurrence of the Greek hilasterion in the New Testament is in Hebrews 9:5, where the NASB translates it as “mercy seat”.
Hebrews 9:5And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.
If you love someone you are willing to do what ever it takes to see total restoration.
Jesus was willing to become the sacrifice the priest and the mercy seat.
Love is not the feeling that you have when you see goodness in others. Love is the action you make in spite of what you see in others.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
John 15:13Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

One Family

With all of the racial tension that has been stirring in our nation, I felt it necessary to do my part to promote unity. I especially want to promote unity within the body of Christ. What we are witnessing is nothing less than prophecy fulfilled. In Matthew chapter 24 Jesus looked through time and sees this day we are living in. He warns specifically not to be deceived. There are many voices of deception. There are a few people who would try to convince the masses that Americans are filled with racial hatred. Although there are some who are full of hatred and violence, I tend to believe that they are a smaller group than portrayed by the media and that they do not represent the viewpoints of most Americans. As the end of time approaches the Bible is very clear, that the darkness will become darker and the violent will become more violent. The offended will become more offended, the deceived man will go on deceiving. Greed and selfishness, rebellion and perversion shall increase. Sin will surely abound, but God’s grace, (His enabling power) shall always increase to a greater degree than the sin opposition of our day. When darkness falls heavy on the people, the light of God’s anointed men and women must arise.
So here it is. I’m just a small town preacher, this may never get more than a few likes from close friends and family. But I have seen the power of social media. If we will join together our voice will be strengthened. We are all from different cultures and backgrounds, but as for me I will stand with my brothers and sisters of all colors and all races. We are all “One Family” in Christ Jesus.

Hide The Beer! The Pastors Here

Hide the beer! The pastors Here.

This was a song that the swirling eddies recorded talking about hypocrisy in many Christian colleges. In fact many Christian colleges banned this song from being played on campus.

Apparently talking about alcohol and Christianity is a touchy subject.

But let’s face it, alcohol consumption and things that surround that topic is kind of a hot topic right now among churches. I would like to address this issue.

Did Jesus drink wine?
Wasn’t he called the friend of sinners?
Wasn’t he partying it up?
Was the wine that Jesus drink alcohol?

Yes, there was alcohol in the Old Testament and New Testament.

Yes people got drunk back then too.

Yes there were drunken parties and orgies and the suchlike going on in the same way that it is today.

Yes Jesus did drink wine on several occasions recorded in Scripture, whether that was fermented or unfermented is debatable. Seeing that the word for grape juice in the Bible is translated wine and the same word for fermented grape juice in the Bible is also translated wine.

Yes Jesus’ accusers did hurl insults at him, trying to discredit his testimony by calling him “the friend of sinners.”

Yes Jesus is the sinner’s best friend for he is the only one who can bring total restoration and forgiveness to their lives.

Yes Jesus forgave those in sin and told them to sin no more.

No Jesus was not hanging out in these places full of sinful demonstrations. Nor was he taking part in their sin, nor was he sitting back and tolerating those behaviors around him.

No Jesus was not getting wasted with the boys at the lake.

Yes Jesus opened up his arms to all who wanted to draw close to Him. The sinner and the saint.

Yes Jesus did encounter all different types of people from all different walks of life. Many that needed healing deliverance salvation and miracles.

All Scripture must be judged by other scriptures to make sure that we have a full understanding concerning issues that we face. Let’s not just take one scripture and use that scripture to justify our position.

Now let’s talk about the topic at hand.

Although the consumption of wine might be debatable scripturally. Revelry, which is drunken parties, and drunkenness is quite black-and-white.

I wrestled with this topic last year quite extensively when I was confronted with this idea of mixing alcohol with ministry. I have known this to be a hush hush topic in the past. As long as You don’t talk about drinking or the party life You lead no one will care enough to confront. However this has more recently become an open topic. Once again we see this progression of “Christian Culture” What was forbidden in one generation has been tolerated by the next and normalized by third.

Here is my take.
Too often I have seen alcohol destroy lives, families, and Christian witness. I have sat in counseling meetings with people who’s life laid waste because of alcohol abuse. I have seen alcohol consumption lead to Domestic abuse, adultery, divorce, abandonment, unemployment and much more regret. For these reasons I will never condone the drinking of alcoholic beverage. In fact I will stand against it as much as possible in discouraging such things.

Some may feel that I am old-fashioned in this area. Believe me I have done much thinking and praying on this subject. The Bible says that men are to work out their own salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12). I whole heartedly agree with this scripture. Each person needs to decide in his own heart and conscience how he or she should handle the subject of abstaining or not abstaining from alcoholic beverage. Then you must be true to your conscience. However in the area of drunkenness and attending bars and drunken parties the scriptures are quite clearly against these things. Christians are not to be a part of or contributing to this lifestyle. (See scripture below)

So as for me and those that are ministering with me I feel very strongly and therefore have raised the standard of ministry. I believe it is best for those in ministry need to be abstinent from alcoholic beverage and refrain from establishments that promote reveling. I’m not saying that you have to stay away from restaurants that may serve alcohol or have a bar in house. Or that you should not attend a wedding celebration or other special occasions where some people may choose to have alcohol. If you find yourself in an establishment or in a celebration where alcohol is present definitely live by conviction. If you are a part of ministry especially in the ministry at Liberty Church, refuse to drink alcohol. And if the celebration starts turning a bit wild it is probably your cue to gracefully bow out. And please do yourself, your church, and the kingdom of God a favor and “witness” somewhere else. Stay out of the bars and other drunken parties. Don’t go in. There are many other places that we can minister to the lost. Let’s focus on being a witness for God in our everyday lives. I believe God will bless us greatly as the standard is raised.

Ezekiel 44:23 And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.

1 Thessalonians 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

1 Peter 4:18-19 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

2 CORINTHIANS 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers, for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?

James 4:4 – Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Ephesians 5:11 – And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove [them].

Galatians 5:16-26 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Try faith

Try faith

James 1
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

Faith that has not been tested cannot be trusted

1. Faith opportunity-your trial has opened the opportunity for God to work. be joyful about this.

God has given us a greater insight. to perceive more than what we can just see.

2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

So you believe that you have it because you saw it

The worlds seeing is believing
God says believing is seeing

Mark 9:23 All things are possible to him that believes.

Be joyful in this.

2. Ask in faith
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith is a substance – Greek word rather leans toward strong assurance

Faith is strong conviction in the infallibility of the word of God.

When you say I have faith what you are really saying is I believe in the character of God and the promise to word that you gave

The word will not fail because the God who gave the word cannot lie

3. The greatest testimony of your faith is your lifestyle

2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV)
For we walk by faith, not by sight

If you live by sight alone you will run the risk of being deceived. Don’t let the devil scam you.
